Diocesan Carol Service Monday 11th December, 7.30, St James Church Birkdale (more details on the hall notice board)

We always have beautiful flowers in church, by the altar and at the front of the main body, thanks to our wonderful flower ladies.  Over the years people have chosen a special date to remember a loved one and make a donation towards the cost of the flowers for that week.

The list has become a little out of date recently so in the porch, on the noticeboard, there is a new list.  Rather than specific dates, this list uses 1st Sunday, 2nd Sunday etc.   Please see Anita or Barbara to be included and then you can choose which Sunday you would like your flowers to be on.

ECCLESIASTICAL INSURANCE are celebrating 130 years providing insurance cover to Anglican churches and to celebrate they are offering £130 to the church for every home insurance policy taken out by members of our congregation until the end of October 2018.  When your insurance is due for renewal why not get a quote from Ecclesiastical Insurance as it may benefit you and Holy Trinity.

You can obtain a quote by email: www.ecclesiastical.com/Trust130 or by calling 0800 783 0130 quoting TRUST130.

If you take the policy out just nominate Holy Trinity Wavertree to receive the £130 donation and that is all you have to do.  Thank you.

Please support the campaign to help show that these people are not forgotten.  All you have to do is :

Take a card or cards and for each one put £1.05 in the box.  Read the information but DON'T include it.  Write a message and Post the card.

St Bridgets & St Thomas presents

On Friday 15th December at 7.30pm: local soprano Gussie Knopov, who is currently training at a London conservatoire, will be singing a selection of familiar arias, showstoppers from the musicals, and songs with a Christmas flavour.  She will be accompanied by the Danish pianist Per Nielsen, who will also perform one or two piano solos.

Tickets are £5 each, to include light refreshments in the interval.  Children are admitted free - but please, no young children as this would be distracting for the performers and the audience!
