What is the PCC?
Every Anglican church has a Parochial Church Council, or PCC. The Parochial Church Council is a group of people who represent the church to which they belong.
Holy Trinity’s PCC has the responsibility of promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church: in sharing the gospel of Christ through worship, pastoral care, outreach and education. It also has maintenance responsibilities for Holy Trinity Church, Church Hall and the residential properties owned by the church.
The PCC at Holy Trinity has 32 members, listed on the members page. They meet most months f or an evening to discuss church business.
Elections for PCC members take place at the Annual Parochial Meeting in April each year. Parishioners must be on the ‘Electoral Roll’ to stand for election.
