The Rector write

Our new diocesan Bishop and Archdeacon of Liverpool have now been in office for one year.  I am delighted to have been appointed to be the Associate Archdeacon and to be able to offer over thirty years experience of ministry to support them and the diocese.

I am also Area Dean of Toxteth and Wavertree, overseeing the 11 parishes and the present engagement period of a year as we look to join the diocesan initiative of Fit for Mission. This is a way of amalgamating the parishes in the deanery in to one larger parish and have one overarching approach to working together and supporting each other.

As we here at Holy Trinity look to our future, there is much to be thankful for and much to prepare for. The Church of England is going through a great period of change to make it worthy and accessible for our present age.  We are in many ways going through a new 'reformation' and the Church must adapt and be fit for the mission and outreach necessary and relevant for the 21st century. Our trust in the Lord and we commend our future to prayer.
The Rector.
